Zane LOVES playing on the playground at church after service. At first he would just run around it and watch all of the kids, now he loves the slide and is exploring more, and when we put him on the bridge he will go across and go up through the tube to the slide. He hasn't figured out how to go down the slide without Daddy coming to help! He has fun! and doesn't want to leave!!!

New Car Seat! Big Boy!

We got Zane a new car seat and he loves it!!

He was trying to get comfy and go to sleep with his blanket!















Playing peek-a-boo!! He is also getting all of his bottom teeth and eating and sucking on anything, which is why he has his pacifier.

TOOO CUTE!!!!

Zane is so smart and soooo cute!! He LOVES shoes! You ask him where are your shoes he points and says 'shoz'. So last night we are getting ready to leave the house. Shaun puts Zane's shoes on him and he is walking around. Zane finds Shaun's socks and brings them to him, so he put them on and said "Go get my shoes, they are over there." Zane walks away, a couple of moments later here comes Zane with both tennis shoes in hand saying "shoz, shoz" and gives Shaun his tennis shoes to put on. Once the shoes are on, Zane claps! How smart is that!! :)

I can hear Zane playing in his crib today, so I get up and he sees me and pops right up and walks across his crib, I pick him up and he gives me a big hug, and than kisses.... just melts my heart when he gives kisses without me saying anything!! Too cute!

Oh and now he signs finished when he is done eating!! He tries to say eat if you ask him if he wants to eat. His finished now looks like he is waving really big above his head...trying to capture a picture....I need a film crew.....:)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZANE!!!

So Zane turned one on July 19th. We had his birthday celebration on the 26th. Zane had a blast and was walking around during his party after we woke up from his nap! He loves his new toys and plays with them as much as possible. On Monday morning he actually choose to play instead of eating breakfast! That's amazing! He LOVES to eat!! Here are a few photos... food set up was inspired by my baby shower...thanks Amy and Aunt Debby!

We opted for a piece of the cake instead of his own cake!

Yummy!! He loved the cake! He even tried to eat the plate! Washing it down with milk! He is on mostly whole milk now and he LOVES it!! He often asks for more and tries to share with mom and dad! Surprisingly the blue frosting came off of him pretty easily. I just wrapped him in the red table cloth and stuck him in the tub! He just ate the cake a little at a time with his hands! Too cute!!

10 Month pictures....... Zane loves to climb in the rocking chair, he stands and looks and waits for one of us to say sit down and then sits down and laughs! And does it again! He is just so funny, yes he climbs in and out all by himself, he only fell twice (That I know of)

So I am looking through my blog and realize I haven't posted any of his month pictures since he was 5 months!! So here you go!!

9 month check up one month late!

Zane had his 9 month check up on June 3rd. So he was actually closer to 10 1/2 months! Oh well! I didn't take him because he was teething and coughing, and I will not give him a shot if he isn't feeling 100%!! I take no chances here! The doctor finally didn't get mad when I told her he can only have 1 shot at this appointment! I think she finally figured out what I am doing! Anyway... Zane now weighs 18 lbs and 9 oz! Lower percentiles, but he is so active she expected it. He is 28.5 inches tall!! Right in the middle for his age! She was impressed with his standing ablities and listed some things he should start doing that he already is!! So he is all good!!

Here is a video of Zane climbing the stairs. He has only done it a few times, and once got all the way up without stopping. Of course I was right behind him ready in case he fell. But nope! He got to the top turned around put his hands up and smiled really big as to say, "TAAA DAAA!!! I am so big!!" and he laughed!

Bath Time in the Big Bath Tub

We recently started giving Zane a bath in the down stairs bath, well now we have to keep the door closed at all times, or he crawls into the bathroom and tries to climb into the tub. The boy likes water!!! Sometimes he will stay forever, these pictures are from a 30 minute bath, and even then he didn't want to get out! He was trying to play with no water in the tub!! He isn't scared of the noise the water makes when draining, he tries to catch it and laughs! Which is a good thing!! :)

He likes to crawl around in the tub to get his toys, we are trying to teach him not to stand, when he stands its time to get out!

Trouble!

So I am trying to update my blog, Zane is crawling around playing with toys and things he thinks are toys... i.e. my stuff..... He found his diaper bag, and his puffs, he knows how to open the container and dump them out so he can eat them....notice his foot trying to hide the container..... He just smiles when I ask what are you doing??

Swimming!

Zane went swimming for the first time on May 28, 2008 at Ms. Ginger's pool. The first time we went in he was clingy as you can see from the pictures. The second time he had a blast walking on the step in his floaty and playing peek-a-boo with Ms. Lisa's kids. We had a little pool party with the teachers I worked with at Sandra Day!

He had fun! Didn't get sub burned! YEAH! and left his hat on just about the whole time! He even picked out his own swim suite!

Shaun was feeding Zane at Peter Piper and he got a little excited about his peaches and ended up sending them everywhere, I was behind him and still got peaches on me!!

Bath time after another messy dinner!!

I was trying to give Zane Peas which he dislikes, so i was giving some carrots in between, as you can see by the next picture peas and carrots got all over. Some carrots fell on the tray and Zane finger painted with them, carrots stain!!! :)
